Kylian Mbappe fired France into next year's European Championships on Friday, scoring twice as Les Bleus kept their unbeaten qualifying record intact. The Netherlands proved to be no match for the reigning world champions, who cruised to a 4-0 victory at the Johan Cruyff Arena.
Mbappe opened the scoring in the 14th minute, capitalizing on a defensive error by the Netherlands. He doubled France's lead just before halftime, converting a penalty after Ousmane Dembele was brought down in the box. Antoine Griezmann added a third goal in the 54th minute, and Mbappe completed the scoring in the 63rd minute with a clinical finish.
The victory ensures that France will finish top of Group B in the European Qualifiers, guaranteeing their place in the tournament finals. The Netherlands, meanwhile, will have to settle for a place in the playoffs to determine the remaining qualifiers.
